Abstract

This essay examines several instances of collaboration and proofs of elective affinity between Poet and playwright Giovanni Testori and music composers of the Milanese scene (Suligoj, Carpi) and with the Monegasque chansonnier Léo Ferré. Testori worked with these artist both in terms of them setting his poems and theatrical texts to music, and of Testori writing passionate liner notes by Testori to present the work of his fellow musicians and songwriters. The combination of these literary and musical practices constitutes an interesting case of polymediality in Testori's production.
