Abstract

Technological progress and digital convergence have collapsed time and space. This process involved a redefinition of the relationship between working time and leisure time. The massive introduction of remote work, the dematerialisation of tasks and the shift to work for goals all contribute to more opportunities in reconciling productive demands with people’s lives. In the long run, work will lose its function as a social ordinator, and this will require a redefinition of the value set of our communities.
