Abstract

This article presents a view on the debate regarding the Western literary canon from an intersectional perspective. The issue will be explored through an analysis that considers the complex power dynamics involved in its definition and the subjectivities engaged. Furthermore, a critical analysis of the most recent proposals aimed at overcoming or redefining the canon will be conducted, stressing that it is a matter of reference systems.
