In recent years, as the climate crisis has worsened, climate fiction, i.e. fiction about climate change and its consequences, has become increasingly popular. This literary genre originated in North America, but also spread to Europe and Italy, continuing a centuries-old tradition of apocalyptic storytelling. This article examines the main characteristics of Italian cli-fi from a specific corpus, consisting of works by Laura Pugno, Tommaso Pincio, Tullio Avoledo, Paolo Zanotti, Antonio Scurati, Bruno Arpaia, Mauro Garofalo
